Can you see seven without counting from one?

Here is what is happening.
A ten-frame has two rows of five spaces. Filling five and then two makes seven; three spaces remain empty. Grouping can help us see a number in parts. Different arrangements may represent the same quantity, so check both the filled and empty spaces.
