Here is what is happening.
Describing words add detail: a round lid, a smooth leaf, a quiet room. A useful description tells what you notice. Different languages can describe the same thing in different ways.

One safe everyday object, or an object you remember.
Choose an object. Think about its shape, texture and use.
Give three clues without naming it. You may speak, write or gesture.
Ask which clue helped most. Add its name in another language you know.
