Why are seasons different?
When one hemisphere has summer, the other has winter.
Here is what is happening.
Earth’s axis is tilted. As Earth travels around the Sun, the hemispheres receive different angles and durations of sunlight. This is the main cause of seasons, not simply Earth being nearer or farther from the Sun. A paper diagram can show the tilt but cannot reproduce the whole climate.
