Test a holder before decorating
A prototype is allowed to change.
Take your time. Speak, draw or write your answers.
Here is what is happening.
A prototype is an early model used to learn about a design. For a paper pencil-holder model, stability and opening size matter before decoration. A failed test can reveal a useful change. Use a drawing or soft-paper model rather than loading a weak structure with sharp objects.
Pause. Make the idea your own.
Explain one idea to a partner, draw it or write it in your own words. Which part is an observation, an example or a question?
You can use a home language. No need to share personal experiences or finish everything in one sitting.Your little investigation
