Design a repeating border
A small pattern can travel across a whole page.
Take your time. Speak, draw or write your answers.
Here is what is happening.
A repeating pattern uses a unit again and again. Repetition can create rhythm in a drawing. You can change size, spacing and direction while keeping a clear rule.
Your little investigation
What you need
Paper and pencil; colours are optional.
Choose a three-shape unit: circle, leaf, leaf.
