What makes a place suitable for a living thing?

Here is what is happening.
A habitat offers conditions and resources a living thing needs. Food, water, shelter and space may come from different parts of a place. Different organisms have different needs. An imaginary habitat drawing is a plan to discuss, not a reason to capture a wild animal.

Choose a familiar animal from a book or picture.
Map where it could find food, water, shelter and space.
Remove one resource in the drawing and discuss what might change.
