Data minimisation means collecting only information needed for a stated purpose. A drawing activity may need no account, address or date of birth. Before adding a form field, explain its purpose, who can see it and how long it is retained. Avoid collecting information just because it might be useful someday.
Pause. Make the idea your own.
Explain one idea to a partner, draw it or write it in your own words. Which part is an observation, an example or a question?
You can use a home language. No need to share personal experiences or finish everything in one sitting.Your little investigation
Paper and a pencil, or a partner to talk with. Drawing and speaking are welcome.
Design a fictional activity form with topic, school address, home address and favourite colour.
Decide which fields the activity actually needs and remove the rest.
Write a plain-language explanation of where remaining information goes.
